Video: Take an exclusive look inside NC State's new indoor facility
Back in June, NC State opened the doors to the 90,000 square foot Close-King indoor practice facility, and the new first-class facility allows student-athletes to really "maximize their time during the day," according to deputy AD of internal relations Michael Lipitz.
With giant retractable doors lining the sides of the facility, the new indoor is a really impressive addition on campus for Dave Doeren's program.
"One of the tings we should be proud of is the way we maximized our budget dollars. It's really impressive from the outside, it matches the rest of the complex, and it's appealing from the outside. And then, when you go inside, it has every component that the student-athletes need to train." Lipitz goes on to explain.
The video above gives some back-story on how coaching staff's from the past, and present pushed for the facility, and it provides an excellent look at Doeren and his staff's newest recruiting pitch.
