Video: Urban Meyer had Ohio State players write letters to the families of veterans who paid the ultimate price

As Urban Meyer's head coaching career has advanced, he's been very open about how his focus has shifted more from scheme and X's and O's to helping players with real life issues.

Today, as Memorial day sparks words and tweets of reflections of soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice, Meyer and Ohio State football tweeted out a very special video showing players taking in messages from a few speakers Urban and his staff brought in before they put their pens to paper to write a letter to a family of a fallen veteran.

In the letters, some players share some personal stories about being from military families, while others simply find the words to thank folks that they've never met for playing an important role in the life of someone who was willing to risk it all for the freedoms we all enjoy daily.

It's really the perfect Memorial Day video while also illustrating the type of lessons and values that Urban and his Buckeye staff want to pass on to the next generation. Enjoy.
