Video: Wake Forest players react to new $38 million football facility (Wake Forest)

Heading into the 2014 season, Dave Clawson left Bowling Green for an opportunity to take over a Wake Forest program that was facing a rebuild in a league that was emerging as one of the premier football conferences in college football in the ACC.

Almost a decade later, Clawson and the Demon Deacons have appeared in seven straight bowl games, and have won five of them, and have racked up an impressive 19 wins over the past two seasons to go along with a first-place finish the the Atlantic Division in 2021.

The program has been transformed under Clawson and his staff, and yesterday Wake Forest revealed a new football complex to match their on-field success.

With a special introduction from donor Bob McCreary, Clawson and his team got to set foot for the first time as a team into the new football complex that features McCreary's name.

The excitement they have seeing the $38 million investment that was made for the facility that houses a new locker room, players lounge, and so much more is a lot of fun to watch.

Construction on the project started in December of 2021, and McCreary headlined a group of about 700 donors that stepped up to make this facility a reality.
