Video: Wright Thompson gets our minds right for Week 0

As Fall has moved towards us and the threat of the pandemic still lingers, many of us have been at loss for words about this season and the impact of the pandemic on college football.

Fortunately for us, Wright Thompson is not at the same loss for words and instead, perfectly says what many of us are thinking.

"Let's be honest nobody knows how we'll react when we see our teams take the field, if they take the field."

This week, we're blessed with a number of games:

Thursday has Central Arkansas at UAB and South Alabama at Southern Miss.

Six games slated for Saturday include Eastern Kentucky at Marshall, Middle Tennessee at Army, SMU at Texas State, Houston Baptist at North Texas, Arkansas State at Memphis and Stephen F. Austin at UTEP.

Monday night we get BYU at Navy.

"In some room somewhere there are smart people figuring how to play the games college football must play to survive without just breaking my heart."

We're right there with you, Wright.

Let's go!
