Pete Thamel tweets this morning that Dave Clawson is expected the fill the open receivers job on staff with Air Force's Ari Confesor.
Confesor spent the last four seasons with the Falcons.
Thamel adds that "the deal is expected to be finalized in the upcoming days."
Before joining the Troy Calhoun's staff at Air Force, Confesor held the pass game coordinator / wide receivers coach title at Holy Cross (FCS)n and has previously coached at Rhode Island, where he collected some valuable experience on the defensive side of the ball coaching the team's linebackers and secondary while with the program.
He steps into the role that opened up with veteran coach Kevin Higgins moving into an off the field leadership role, a move that was announced at the end of January.
