ESPN already has production crews setting up its equipment and stage on the University of Washington campus as the self-proclaimed "worldwide leader in sports" readies to host its ever-popular GameDay show Saturday in advance of the top-10 battle featuring undefeated teams in Oregon and host Washington.
But Thursday, some 48 hours before kickoff of the Ducks and Huskies in a game stuffed with PAC-12 title and College Football Playoff implications, pro-Hamas demonstrators chanted in a common area on the Washington campus. Second-year PAC-12 coaches Dan Lanning, Oregon, and Kalen DeBoer, Washington, have helped elevate their programs to new heights in recent years.
"No peace on stolen land!," protestors repeatedly chanted.

Last weekend, Hamas militants launched deadly attacks inside Israel, killing thousands and capturing hostages of Israeli, American and other descent. Some protesters appeared to be pro-Palestine while others were more widespread with their support both Hamas and Palestine.
ESPN already is making its standard preparations for the showdown-contest and its marquee program; the network announced actor/comedian Joel McHale is serving as the celebrity guest picker on the GameDay picks program.
Meanwhile, Jewish students appeared to be devastated from the pro-Hamas movement on the Washington campus.
