Washington State #StaffTracker (2019-2020)
Mike Leach's departure to SEC Country and Mississippi State left Washington State with an opening on January 9th. Leach led the Coogs for a total of eight seasons, going 55-47 overall.
Washington State acted quickly in naming one of the most entertaining personalities in college football - Hawaii's Nick Rolovich, as their new head coach just a week later. Coming off a 10-win season at Hawaii, Rolo was a popular choice to help maintain some offensive continuity with the roster Leach and his staff had created and with the weapons that Washington State has returning.
To fill his staff, Rolo first raided the Wyoming staff for three defensive coaches, including defensive coordinator Jake Dickert. For his offensive staff, Rolo brought his guys from Hawaii, led by offensive coordinator Brian Smith. Hawaii special teams coordinator also came on board in the same role for the Coogs.
See the full staff below. Details on their salaries will be shared when it is released.
