Why Jim Harbaugh says he's like Moses (Jim Harbaugh)

One day if we're lucky, when it's all said and done, Jim Harbaugh and Dabo Swinney will get together and have a good ole Coach-ism off.

Harbaugh dropped an all-timer on Wednesday. Asked about one of his assistants (we can't hear which), Harbaugh said he was like Moses, "I'm gonna die leaning on my staff."

That's not the first time Harbaugh has gone Old Testament from behind his pulpit. Back in 2022 he evoked King Solomon in his quarterback battle between the incumbent Cade McNamara and the young hotshot JJ McCarthy. McNamara would start Michigan's first game of that season, McCarthy the second, and whoever played the best would start the third.

"Some people have asked, 'How'd you come to that decision? Was it based on some kind of NFL model?' No. It's really based Biblical. Solomon was known to be a pretty wise person," Harbaugh said then.

As we know, Harbaugh's 1 Kings 3 Quarterback Plan worked out. McCarthy won the job and led Michigan to the national title the following season, which led him to the Chargers job.

Which then led to the best/worst Harbaugh-ism we've ever heard. So it was all worth it in the end.
