Zach's Super 16 ballot: Week 6 (NFF-FWAA Super 16)

After a rough-and-tumble Week 6, here's how I see the top 16 teams in the country:

1. Georgia: I was prepared to drop the Bulldogs if certain events transpired on Saturday, but 51-13 over the No. 20 team in the country is enough for the Dawgs to hold their spot.

2. Washington: A good win over Oregon next week might move the these canines over Georgia's.

3. Florida State: I have my doubts that Florida State is the third best team in the country, but their resume has earned them this spot.

4. Ohio State: Thirty-seven points is the fewest Ohio State has scored in nine tries against Maryland, but the Buckeyes still won by 20.

5. Penn State: The Nittany Lions effectively get two straight off weeks before their Oct. 21 trip to Ohio State. UMass comes to Happy Valley on Saturday.

6. Oklahoma
7. Texas:
Pain.

8. Oregon: Big game on Saturday.

9. Michigan: Play somebody.

10. Alabama: And after all that, it looks like the Crimson Tide will return to Atlanta once again.

11. USC: The 6-0 Trojans are just begging for someone to beat them. USC gets Notre Dame, Utah, Washington and Oregon among its next five games.

12. Oregon State: In the rough-and-tumble Pac-12, Oregon State avoids a ranked team over five straight games before closing with Washington and Oregon. Don't count these Beavers out.

13. North Carolina: Other than App State, UNC has defeated every opponent by double digits. A huge opportunity on Saturday night at home against Miami awaits.

14. Ole Miss: The win over LSU and loss to Alabama both aged better after Saturday's games.

15. Utah: The Utes were off Saturday before a difficult second half. Simply put, this ranking won't last if Cam Rising doesn't return.

16. Louisville: I didn't think the Cardinals had it in them after watching their dreadful win at NC State last Friday, but they got it done in defeating Notre Dame 33-20 on Saturday night. The ACC championship race is wide open, and the Cardinals are part of it.
