A number of Nick Saban's assistants have received nice raises (Featured)

Alabama's compensation committee met today and decided to reward Nick Saban's staff with raises ranging anywhere from $15,000 to $200,000, according to Alabama's Rivals site.

Defensive coordinator Kirby Smart got the biggest bump, going from $1.3 million in 2014 to $1.5 million this year, and Smart's contract was also extended a year to go through February 28th of 2018.

Other assistants getting bumps included offensive line coach Mario Cristobal (from $500k to $515k with two years remaining on his contract), secondary coach Mel Tucker (approved at $500k until February 29th of 2016 and $600k until February 28, 2017), tight ends coach / special teams coordinator Bobby Williams (from $428k to $440,840), outside linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi ($425k), defensive line coach Bo Davis (increase from $450k to $475k through February 2017), director of strength and conditioning Scott Cochran (from $395k to $425k through February 2017), running backs coach Burton Burns (from $335k to $345k through February 2017), and wide receivers coach Billy Napier (from $325k to $340k).

The only assistant not listed is Lane Kiffin, who will make $680,000 this season before getting a bump to $714,000 for the third year of his deal, according to AL.com.
