USC is often referred to as Los Angeles' pro football team, so it only makes sense that the Trojans would attempt to treat their fans to the pro football experience.
After gaining control of the Los Angeles Coliseum for the next century back in September, USC agreed to plunge $100 million in improvements into the 90-year old structure. One of those improvements, the school announced Friday, will be to add on-field suites beyond the east end zone, and an upscale tailgating scene called the Peristyle Club outside the east end of L.A. Coliseum.
The Peristyle Club will offer "all-inclusive upscale food and beverage", a cash bar and shaded lounge seating. The Field Club consists of 10 on-field suites contains an "unprecedented VIP experience", which is basically an in-game extension of the Peristyle Club.
The on-field suite experience continues a trend popularized by the Dallas Cowboys at the opening of AT&T Stadium in 2009. Much like Jerry World, the Trojans will walk through the Peristyle Club and the Field Club on their way to the Coliseum floor.
No pricing has been released, but understand that if you have to ask, you can't afford it.
