Manny Diaz has hired Dan Enos away from Alabama (Featured)

Update >> Miami has now announced the addition of Enos as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach.

Crimson Tide quarterbacks coach Dan Enos, who was set to over the Alabama offense after the departure of Mike Locksley for the Maryland head coaching job, is reportedly on the move. According to reports, Enos will be joining Manny Diaz's new staff at Miami as the program's new offensive coordinator. Barry Jackson was among the first to share the news, and a number of other outlets are now sharing the same. Enos was briefly a part of Jim Harbaugh's staff at Michigan before leaving to join Nick Saban's staff heading into the 2018 season. Prior to that he coached at Arkansas as the offensive coordinator under Bret Bielema from 2015-17. Enos left his post as the head coach at Central Michigan to join the Arkansas staff, and prior to that had stops at Michigan State, Cincinnati, NDSU, Western Michigan, Missouri State, Southern Illinois, Northern Michigan, and Lakeland. His coaching journey started as a graduate assistant at Michigan State after his career as a Spartan quarterback ended in the early 90's. Earlier this morning, Manny looks to have celebrated the home-run addition of Enos to his staff with an appropriate Twitter GIF.

The offensive coordinator opening at Alabama will be one that will interest a number of guys for obvious reasons. It will be interesting to see where Nick Saban turns to put a stop to the revolving door that position has turned into. Dating back to 2011, the Tide offense has been led by Jim McElwain (who left for the head coaching job at Colorado State), Doug Nussmeier (who left for the OC post at Michigan), Lane Kiffin (who left to lead the FAU program), Steve Sarkisian (left for the Atlanta Falcons OC job), Brian Daboll (left for the Buffalo Bills OC job), and Mike Locksley (who left for the Maryland head coaching job).
