Source: Former FCS head coach to join Rutgers staff (joe susan)

Source tells FootballScoop that former Davidson (FCS - NC) and Bucknell (FCS - PA) head coach Joe Susan will join Greg Schiano's staff at Rutgers.

We understand Susan's role with be as an assistant to the head coach.

Susan stepped down from the Bucknell head coaching job back in January of 2019 after nine seasons and a 38-61 record.

Before that, he was the offensive line and tight ends coach for a good chunk of Schiano's first tenure leading the Scarlet Knight program, working with the team from 2001-09. He also served as the head coach at Davidson for one season in 2000, leading the team to a 10-0 record as an FCS independent.

Susan also has coaching stops on the offensive side of the ball at Delaware, Bucknell, Princeton, and Memphis.
