" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Brent McMurphy has reported the same. McMurphy adds that Cotton is battling some health issues and is currently on the wait list for a heart transplant. Prior to coaching in Vegas, Justice worked with the offensive line at FAU for two seasons, and was the lone holdover on staff when Lane Kiffin landed the job in Boca Raton. After their breakout first-season under Kiffin in 2016, Justice briefly joined the staff in Arizona before Rich Rodriguez was let go. Before making the jump to the FBS ranks, Justice spent five seasons as head coach at Concord University (D-II - WV) where he went 40-17 overall. His playing career included All American honors as an offensive lineman at West Virginia. Please join us in keeping coach Cotton in your prayers as he continues to wait for a heart transplant.
