Texas senior analyst Jeff Crosby is expected to become the special teams coordinator at Appalachian State, sources told FootballScoop on Thursday.
Crosby has previously served as a special teams analyst at Southern Miss and Washington before joining Steve Sarkisian's Longhorns staff in 2021.
Appalachian State is re-making its football program after hiring Dowell Loggains as the program's 23rd head coach last month. The Mountaineers went 40-24 in five seasons under previous head coach Shawn Clark, including a 5-6 mark in 2024.
