Mitchell White, a former four-year contributor at Michigan State who also spent six years in professional football, is returning to the Midwest, sources tell FootballScoop.
White, who served last season on Blake Anderson's Utah State staff as the Aggies corners coach and passing game coordinator, is taking a job coaching the corners for Chuck Martin at Miami (Ohio).
The Redhawks are the reigning MAC champions after downing Toledo in the conference title game en route to an 11-win 2023 campaign.
For White, the move cross-country takes him back not only to his roots as a multi-sport athlete at Michigan State -- where he played football and competed in track and field -- but also to some of his coaching origins.
White previously served on staff at Notre Dame College, the University of Mary and the University of Findlay, as well as professionally in the CFL with the Montreal Alouettes. He also coached at Stephen F. Austin.
His brother, Myles, was recently hired away from Miami to serve on staff of the NFL's Green Bay Packers.
