Sources confirm UAB losing offensive line coach the NFL (Eddie Gordon)

The Green Bay Packers dipped into the college head coaching ranks to fill their defensive coordinator job with Jeff Hafley of Boston College.

Hafley was able to bring a trusted co-coordinator along with him from Chestnut Hill to Green Bay, as we shared yesterday, and now the Packers are set to add another college assistant to the staff.

Sources confirm to FootballScoop that UAB offensive line coach Eddie Gordon is expected to join the staff. 247 has shared the same.

He will serve as assistant offensive line coach for the organization, we're told.

Before joining Trent Dilfer at UAB, Gordon spent three seasons on staff at Georgia.

He helped the Bulldogs capture back-to-back national titles, starting off as a graduate assistant for two seasons before moving to an offensive quality control role for Kirby Smart's program.

Gordon also has experience at Louisiana, where he spent a seasons as a graduate assistant and another season as director of player development and an assistant strength coach.

As always, stay tuned to The Scoop for the latest.
