Sources: FCS program hires D-III coordinator to fill offensive opening (Trine)

After over a decade at the Division II and Division III level, sources tell FootballScoop that Eric Ravallette is taking an opportunity at the FCS level.

Sources share Ravallete is set to accept the offensive line job at Eastern Kentucky after nearly a decade on staff at Trine (D-III - IN).

"Coach Rav" replaces Erik Losey, who resigned to pursue other opportunities.

He joined the Trine staff in 2012 as offensive line coach and run game coordinator, eventually adding the assistant head coach / co-offensive coordinator titles while churning out a number of All-MIAA selections.

Ravallette has developed units that have led all of Division III in rushing (2017 - 330ypg), while also ranking among the top 10 nationally in team passing efficiency and scoring as well that season.

Before joining the Trine staff, "Rav" spent four seasons at Ferris State (D-II - MI) where he coached the offensive line.

Additional stops for the coaching veteran include a stint at Southeast Missouri State (FCS), and time coaching the tight ends at WKU and a graduate assistant stint at New Mexico State.

For Ravallette, the move to EKU marks a return to a state that he brought a national title home to as a player, only on the other side of The Bluegrass State. He was a key member of the 2022 Western Kentucky offensive line, that captured the I-AA national title.

He initially joined the Hilltoppers as a walk-on offensive lineman, but earned a scholarship after his freshman season.
