Don Brown went from one win in year one to three wins last fall and is heading into year three leading the UMass program (which is a second stint).
As he continues his rebuild, he will do so with a few new faces in key roles.
For starters, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Steve Casula left the program earlier this off season for an opportunity to coach the tight ends at Michigan. Casula previously served in a support staff role for the defending national champs under Jim Harbaugh following a number of years as a college coach around the state of Michigan.
Now the staff is set to lose another key member, sources tell FootballScoop.
Director of on campus recruiting Ashleigh Wick is leaving for an opportunity in the NFL, sources share.
Wick joined the UMass staff in July of Brown's first season back in 2022.
In addition to her recruiting duties, she also oversaw administrative operations for the Minutemen.
Before her move to the northeast, Wick spent a year as a recruiting operations assistant at Florida State.
