Texas A&M Commerce: Texas A&M Commerce has a director of sports performance position open. This is a brand new position coordinating the strength and conditioning efforts for a program that has won back-to-back conference titles. Details on the position, and how to apply, can be found here.
NC State: “Thunder” Dan Burnette is taking over the strength and conditioning program at North Carolina State. Burnette has been a member of the strength staff for 12 seasons, and played linebacker for the program from 1999-2002.
Tulane: Kyle Speer is joining Willie Fritz’s staff from Georgia Southern where he was the head strength coach. We also understand that while director of strength and conditioning Rob Phillips will not return, the rest of the staff is expected to stay intact.
South Carolina: David Feeley, who ran Ball State’s strength and conditioning program under Pete Lembo, is joining the South Carolina staff as an assistant.
