Western Oregon: Western Oregon is looking for an intern assistant strength coach. DUTIES: ASSIST IN THE STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS IN THE WOU SPORTS PERFORMANCE DEPARTMENT. THIS POSITION WILL HAVE TEAM(S) RESPONSIBILITIES AS WELL AS ASSISTING THE DIRECTOR OF SPORTS PERFORMANCE WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROGRAMS, WARM UP/FLEXIBILITY AND ANY OTHER DUTIES AS NEEDED. QUALIFICATIONS: BACHELORS DEGREE IN EXERCISE SCIENCE OR RELATED FIELD, MASTER’S PREFERRED. EXPERIENCE IN THE COLLEGIATE OR PROFESSIONAL STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING SETTING NECESSARY, WITH EXPERIENCE PROGRAMMING PREFERRED, A STRONG DESIRE TO BECOME A STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH AT THE COLLEGIATE LEVEL PREFERABLE. MUST BE CPR/FIRST AID CERTIFIED AS WELL AS CURRENTLY CERTIFIED IN ONE OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: CSCCa, C.S.C.S., USAW.
