Michigan: The Department of Strength and Conditioning (Basketball) at the University of Michigan is now accepting qualified volunteer/internship applications for the Fall and Spring semesters. This is an unpaid and uncompensated position. Responsibilities include assisting with supervision of training programs, assisting with daily facility maintenance, and all other departmental functions. Intern qualifications: Punctuality; Strong communication skills; Strong work ethic; Ability to follow directions. Preferred qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Exercise Science or related field; CPR/AED certified; CSCS, SCCC, and/or USAW certification. The volunteer/internship will begin September 1st and run through the end of the Spring semester. Responsibilities include Interns will receive experience working at the Division 1 level, have the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities, and receive college credit if applicable.
