Mercer University (FCS): Mercer University is currently accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Strength Coach. Duties include writing and implementing team work outs for assigned male and female collegiate teams in accordance with NCAA, Atlantic Sun Conference and Mercer University rules and regulations. Qualifications required are experience with teaching and demonstrating the Olympic lifts, Power lifts and other movements to collegiate teams; 6+ months experience in writing and implementing sports performance team work outs; an accredited certification (preferably CSCS, USAW, or SCCC); meeting Mercer University graduate school entrance requirements. Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science or related field of study. This position requires a TWO YEAR program commitment. Compensation package includes room and board with a full tuition, books waiver and a small stipend. Part-time, outside employment allowed with prior approval of Department Heads. Applicants must have a strong desire to pursue a career as a full time, collegiate strength & conditioning coach.
