University of Mary (D-II - ND): The University of Mary Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking an applicant for Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. The successful candidate will assist with the implementation of sport-specific strength training programs for all sports and will be assigned his/her own sports, as capable. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting the head strength and conditioning coach with the design and implementation of sport-specific strength, speed, and agility programs; weight room supervision; daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment; communication with coaches and other duties as assigned by the head strength and conditioning coach. Must be highly motivated to coach, possess strong interpersonal skills as well as written skills and provide positive leadership in all aspects of the University of Mary Christian, Catholic and Benedictine mission and the strength and conditioning department. This is a two year position that requires a bachelor’s degree, admission to the graduate program and certification through the CSCCA, NSCA, or USA Weightlifting . Compensation includes an annual stipend and graduate school tuition.
