Vanderbilt: Vanderbilt University is accepting applications for Intern Sports Performance Coaches to contribute to the Vanderbilt Football Sports Performance Program. Qualified candidates will serve the Football program as a non-counted coach that will have the opportunity to observe all training sessions and assist with set-ups, breakdowns, spotting and additional administrative responsibilities. This unpaid opportunity provides a learning experience assisting the Football Sports Performance staff with the day to day operations of the program. Potential candidates must possess an enthusiastic spirit, strong character and demonstrate effective organization and communication skills. Required qualifications include current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Exercise Science or related course of study in addition to certification in CPR/AED. This internship is expected to start mid to late January 2015 and has the opportunity, based on evaluation, to extend throughout the 2015 spring football season.
