Seattle University: Seattle University is seeking applications for a Graduate Assistant for Strength & Conditioning- in Olympic Sports. Applicants must be highly motivated, organized, have good interpersonal skills, and have a strong desire to pursue a career as a strength and conditioning coach. Applicants will assist the head strength and conditioning coach design and implement strength and conditioning programs for 14 intercollegiate athletic teams. Previous experience in program design, teaching Olympic lifts in a collegiate strength and conditioning setting, and SCCC, USAW, or CSCS certified is required. Duties include but not limited to: assist in the day to day cleaning, maintenance, and operation of the athletic performance center; effectively work and communicate with staff and coaches; and participate in educational sessions for student-athletes and coaches. The position is a 10-month position (August 1-May 31) with a $15,000 stipend. Benefits also include continuing education opportunities and potential additional summer pay.
