Wofford: Wofford is accepting applications for Strength and Conditioning Interns and / or Volunteer Assistants for 2012-2013 school year. Responsibilities include: assisting with the supervision and training of Wofford's 18 Division I intercollegiate athletic programs; assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties; completion of various educational assignments during the internship are required. Qualifications include: Ability to follow directions; strong work ethic; punctuality; enthusiasm; strong desire to further one’s career in the field of Strength & Conditioning. Preferred qualifications include: college playing experience, pursuing Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science or related field; NSCA-CPT, CSCS, SCCC, or USAW certifications; CPR certification and/or coaching experience. Individuals chosen for the position are subject to college/university background checks. This is a (10 Month ) position. Interns and/or Volunteer Assistants will receive experience working at a Division I program, better understand program design, have the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities, and receive college credit if applicable.
