Eastern Washington: Eastern Washington University is looking for two unpaid interns for the 2012 summer training phase. The planned dates of the internship will be June 25- August 3. Interested candidates must be enthusiastic, adaptable, organized, and highly driven, and should have interest in pursuing a career as a strength and conditioning coach. Applicants would be working primarily with the football program. Interns will be assisting with organization and implementation of training, and will be in charge of data tracking and analysis. Achievement or pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or a related field along is required. Previous experience with program design and time spent in the collegiate training environment are encouraged but not required, as well as understanding of Microsoft Excel. Interns may earn college credit where applicable, and will receive preferential consideration for future graduate assistantship positions. The deadline to apply for this position is June 1.
