LSU: LSU Strength and Conditioning is currently accepting applications for the position of Volunteer Intern Strength and Conditioning Coach. This position will coordinate and implement the strength and conditioning programs for Men's and Women's Spirit Squads and Tiger Girls Dance Team. This position will also assist full-time staff members in the training of Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Tennis, Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving, Softball, Volleyball, and/or Gymnastics. Required Qualifications: Working towards a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Sports Medicine, Sports Administration, or a related field. Candidates must have strong communication skills, strength and conditioning coaching experience, a desire to pursue a career in intercollegiate or professional strength and conditioning, and a passion for athletics in general. Candidates must also be currently CPR/First Aid/AED certified. Preferred Qualifications: Professional certification (SCCC, CSCS, USA-W), Additional Position Information: This is an unpaid position consisting of a minimum of 300 hours or 20hrs/week. We are looking to fill positions immediately for Fall 2014 and for Spring 2015. Anticipated start date for Fall 2014 is Monday, August 25, or as soon as possible. Anticipated start date for Spring 2015 is Monday, January 12. William Jewell College: Former Northern Illinois assistant strength coach Adam Lang has accepted the director of strength and conditioning position.

Lincoln Memorial (D-II - TN): Lincoln Memorial University (D-II) is currently seeking a graduate assistant for strength and conditioning for this fall semester. The Graduate Assistant's responsibilities include: Design and implement training programs for designated teams; communicate effectively with staff, administrators and sport coaches; Ability to teach and execute proper technique of lifts and drills. I'm looking for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, desire to be a collegiate strength and conditioning coach, along with experience in a collegiate weight room.
