BYU: USC assistant strength coach Nu'u Tafisi is headed to BYU to be the head strength coach on Kalani Sitake's staff, according to multiple reports.
Utah State: Utah State University is seeking candidates for strength and conditioning graduate assistant. Qualifications: Prospective students must be a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the NSCA or eligible to sit for the certification examination. Students must be admissible in non-provisional status to the Utah State University Graduate School. A minimum GPA of 3.0 and a minimum score at or above the 40th percentile on the GRE or MAT are required. APPLI CANTS NOT MEETING THE MINIMUM STANDARD WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Applicants must apply directly to the Office of Research and Graduate Studies in addition to sending a cover letter, resume and at least three reference letters to Alan.Bishop@usu.edu. Interviews will only be granted to those individuals who have already met the minimum standard for admission into the Graduate Program. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required in physical education, exercise science, kinesiology or closely related field. Minimum of 1 year coaching experience required in the Strength and Conditioning field at a four year university level. Collegiate playing experience preferred.
