Notre Dame: Aaron Wellman, former director of strength and conditioning at Michigan, has joined the Notre Dame strength staff. His title is assistant director of strength and conditioning.

Pittsburgh: The University of Pittsburgh’s Olympic Sports Strength and Department is currently accepting applications for volunteer interns for the Summer 2015 semester. Daily responsibilities include: assisting with the set up and break down of weight room and fields for conditioning workouts; daily clean up and maintenance of the weight room and all of its equipment; assist with supervision and demonstration during the training sessions. Applicants must be highly self motivated, able to follow directions, desire to learn, and have a strong work ethic. The Successful applicants should be working towards earning their Bachelor’s degree and a certification from the NSCA- CSCS, CSCCA, USAW and/or have experience as a collegiate athlete. Interns must be CPR/AED certified. This is an unpaid position, however, volunteers will receive experience working at a Division I program, better understanding of program design, have the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities, and receive college credit if applicable.
