Colgate: Former ODU head strength & conditioning coach Paul Helsel has been hired as director of strength & conditioning at Colgate.
University of Tampa (D-II): University of Tampa Athletic Performance is now accepting applications for Strength and Conditioning VOLUNTEER INTERNS. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to: assisting with supervision, programming, and execution of athletic performance training programs for all varsity Olympic Sports, daily maintenance and upkeep of equipment in the weight room, assisting in teaching proper technique to student athletes, and professional development. NO MONETARY COMPENSATION WILL BE PROVIDED. However, coaching experience and education as a NCAA strength and conditioning coach will be earned. Candidates must have a strong work-ethic, flexible schedule, and a strong desire to be in the collegiate strength and conditioning coaching field. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree or be in the last semester of coursework for undergraduate degree in exercise physiology or related field of study. Certification from one or more of the following organizations is preferred: CSCCa – SCCC, NSCA -CSCS, USAW.
