Florida International: The Florida International University Strength and Conditioning Department is accepting applications for an assistant strength and conditioning coach position. This position will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Panther men’s & women’s basketball teams but could also work with football. The successful candidate will also be assigned other Olympic sport teams to be determined by the Director of Strength and Conditioning. A minimum of 3 years’ experience with collegiate or professional basketball programs. Must be certified: CSCS or SCCC. This position will start during 2015 fall semester and will be open until filled. Inquiries must be received ASAP. Eastern Michigan: Eastern Michigan University Sports Performance is looking for qualified strength and conditioning interns for the Fall 2015 semester. The internship will begin August 1- December 18 2015. Preferred qualifications: Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in exercise physiology or related field; NSCA-CSCS or USAW certifications; CPR certification. One year of previous experience in a strength and conditioning program or have previous collegiate athletics experience is preferred. Compensation: This is a non-paid position. The intern strength and conditioning coach will receive Coach Mckeefery’s nationally recognized internship curriculum, practical s and c experience, mentorship, and hours toward undergrad/ graduate or CSCCa practicum. Pepperdine: The Pepperdine University Strength and Conditioning department is seeking applicants for the 2015 Non-Paid Fall Mentorship/Internship program. This program is designed for those interested in pursuing a career in collegiate strength and conditioning. Responsibilities will include helping with session set up and breakdown, completion of educational assignments and presentations on designated topics. Applicants must have a strong willingness to learn, excellent organizational skills, and be able to work well in a group setting. Gabriel Richard Catholic (MI): Gabriel Richard Catholic High School is seeking a Strength and Conditioning Coach to work primarily with football. The high school is located in Riverview, MI. This position is a paid part-time position and requires 8-10 hours a week. Position start date is late June. Candidates must be in a exercise science program or have a BS in a related field.
