Millersville (D-II - PA): Millersville University is recruiting for a full-time Head Strength & Conditioning Coach to provide expertise, guidance, training, coaching and motivation in strength training and physical conditioning for all student-athletes and university sports teams. This position will design, coordinate and implement a strength and conditioning program to develop sport specific athletic skills for individual teams. Required: Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field. Current certification as strength & conditioning coach. Shenandoah (D-III - VA): Shenandoah University, a NCAA Division III institution, is seeking a qualified professional for the position of Strength and Conditioning Coach. This is a full-time, 10 month position with full institutional benefits. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: strength and conditioning program design and implementation for the University’s 20 intercollegiate teams; daily operation of weight room, supervision of work study students and interns, teaching proper techniques and concepts, educating student-athletes concerning the dangers inherent to illegal/banned performance enhancing drugs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred; CSCS required (other certifications will be considered); previous significant experience within a collegiate strength and conditioning program, graduate assistant or intern; demonstrated commitment to academic, athletic and drug-free performance success on the parts of student-athletes; ability to multi-task and adhere to a flexible and changing work schedule.
