Samford: Samford University Department of Strength and Conditioning (football only) is now accepting applications for the position of Strength and Conditioning VOLUNTEER INTERN. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to; assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs for football, teaching student athletes proper technique and equipment use, attending to the daily maintenance of the training facilities and participation in weekly projects and professional development throughout the internship program. Compensation: Division 1 Football experience with earned recommendation for future career opportunities. NO MONETARY COMPENSATION WILL BE PROVIDED. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or be in the last semester of coursework for undergraduate degree in exercise physiology or related field of study. Certification from one or more of the following (NSCA, CSCS; CSCCA, SCCC; USAW) are preferred. Inquiries must be received by January 15, 2013 for the Spring Semester 2013 (Jan 21-May 13).
