Louisiana Monroe: The University of Louisiana at Monroe is seeking individuals for a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Spring 2014 semester. This position will begin in January 2014. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in an exercise science related field, previous coaching experience working with division 1 athletes, possess one or more of the following certifications (CSCS, SCCC, USAW), strong desire to become a collegiate strength and conditioning coach, admittance into the ULM graduate school. Position will include a tuition waiver, monthly stipend, and meal card. Robert Morris (FCS - PA): The Robert Morris University Strength and Conditioning Staff is seeking highly motivated, hardworking candidates for a strength and conditioning internship for the Spring 2014 Semester. Duties will include assisting the strength and conditioning staff with all aspects of the athletic performance program as well as daily maintenance of weight room and facilities. This is an unpaid position. If chosen for this internship opportunity, you will gain valuable experience, be educated on training philosophy, Olympic lifts, and how to structure and execute a successful strength and conditioning program. Qualifications include: Strong work ethic and desire to become a strength and conditioning professional. Candidates should have or be working towards attaining their bachelor’s degree in a related field.
