ULM: The University of Louisiana Monroe is looking for 5-8 summer mentorship candidates. Candidates must have a strong desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning. Candidates must possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail. There is no monetary compensation for this position. The mentorship will begin May 27th and end August 1st. All mentors will be required to assist with football and other assigned sports. In conjunction with duties of coaching, mentors will be exposed many aspects of strength and conditioning through educational presentations by current strength coaches at ULM. It is the goal of this mentorship program to educate mentors on both coaching presence and the science of training sport. All candidates must be currently working towards or hold one of the following certificates CSCS, CSCCA, or SCCC.
