Tiffin University (D-II): Tiffin University’s Football program is seeking interested applicants for summer 2012 strength and conditioning intern. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: (1) Assist the Strength & Conditioning Coach with various duties; (2) Teach and demonstrate proper technique of skills involved in a strength & conditioning program (including dynamic warm-ups, Olympic lifts, plyometrics, and core, balance, speed and agility exercises); (4) and provide supervision of the weight room facility, upkeep and maintain equipment, and perform other duties assigned by Head Strength Coach. Qualifications include: (1)Enrolled in a Bachelor degree program at the junior or senior level status or enrolled in a Master degree program in Exercise Science or related field (2); Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook; (3) Passion for sport and the Ideals of the Olympic Movement; (4) Sport experience preferred (i.e., active in competitive/intramural sports); (5) Excellent communication and human relations skills; (6) Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced multi disciplinary team environment; (7)Willingness to participate in the full Intern Program; (8) Preferred recognized national certification in Strength & Conditioning (NSCA, CSCCA, USAW,CSCS); (9) CPR Certification; and (10) Aspire to pursue a career as a strength & conditioning professional .
