Grambling State: hired Thomas Stallworth as new head strength & conditioning coach. Stallworth spent the last 4 years at the head S&C coach at South Carolina State University.


University of Tulsa: Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for assisting in the administration of conditioning and strength programs for all University of Tulsa sports. Establish specific strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams. Teach, demonstrate, and supervise proper techniques in the use of strength equipment and conditioning exercises. Assist with training and development of student interns and volunteer coaches. Provide an environment that is conducive to the health and welfare of the student-athlete. Develop and maintain effective interactions with students, peers, the university community, and the public. Other duties assigned by the Director of Strength and Conditioning. Start Date: As soon as possible. Requirements - Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field. 1-2 years experience working in a collegiate athletic weight room or collegiate playing experience. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA or obtain certification within first year of employment. Strong computer skills especially Excel is a must.
