Seattle University: is seeking applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: assist head strength and conditioning coach in all aspects of developing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for 16 intercollegiate athletic teams. Work with both men's and women's sports as assigned by head strength and conditioning coach. Provide proper techniques associated with strength and speed development, and attend to the daily maintenance of the training facility. All responsibilities must be in compliance with institutional and NCAA rules and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field. At least one year experience coaching in a collegiate strength and conditioning program, Adult CPR certification and certified or working to be certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association(NSCA) or Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCC). Candidate must have a strong desire to become strength and conditioning coach. Position offer contingent upon admission into graduate program at Seattle University. Graduates are encouraged to purse a Master of Sports Administration and Leadership.
