West Virginia: Our sources tell us that Minnesota Vikings assistant Byran Fitzpatrick will be joining the staff at WVU as an assistant strength coach. Fitzpatrick served on the staff at Penn State for 2 years before joining the Vikings' staff.

University of Wyoming: Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. General Duties/Description: Design, develop and deliver comprehensive and coordinated training programs to designated Intercollegiate Athletic teams. Establish performance measures and targets. Organize teaching sequences of training techniques for fall orientation and throughout the year. Teach proper execution of techniques and safety for lifts and drills. Applicant must possess a strong knowledge of teaching technique of Olympic-style lifting exercises. Evaluate training phases and coordinate and conduct testing, compile and communicate test results. Assist with programs as required by the Head Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. Assist with the day to day cleaning, maintenance and operation of all training facilities. Be flexible to work irregular hours. Accept other duties as assigned by Head Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. Effectively work, write, speak and communicate with staff, administrators and other coaches in the athletic department. Or e-mail materials to Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; Physical Education or related field preferred. Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) through National Strength and Conditioning Association or sitting for exam is required. Experience in the Strength and Conditioning field at a four year college or University level, working with a variety of teams or having a background as competitive collegiate athlete required. University of Detroit Mercy - 2009 MotorCity S&C Clinic: The Strength and Conditioning Staff at the University of Detroit Mercy would like to invite all strength coaches, athletic trainers, and sport coaches to the 2009 MotorCity Strength and Conditioning Clinic on Saturday June 6th, 2009. Speaks for this year’s clinic include Rick Court from University of Toledo, Javair Gillett from the Detroit Tigers, and Tim Wakeham from Michigan State University, plus many more. Registration for the clinic begins at 7:45 in Calihan Hall on the campus of the University of Detroit Mercy.
