Arizona State University: Sports Performance Internship. Job Description: Assist the sports performance staff in the day-to-day operations of the Arizona State University varsity weight rooms. Duties will include but are not limited to; assist the sports performance staff in the implementation of strength and conditioning programs for 21 varsity sports, instruct safe and proper execution of all facets of sports performance, and assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the facility. Qualifications: Pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree in exercise science or a related field. Experience in a collegiate setting, and a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level. Certification or working towards certifications with the NSCA-CSCS, CSCCa, and/or USAW. Compensation: This is an unpaid position. Internship credit may be obtained for current degree program enrolled in.
