University of Missouri: a Division I institution and member of the Big 12 Conference, seeks qualified candidates for a strength and conditioning graduate assistant in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Responsibilities include assisting the Director and Assistant Director's of Strength & Conditioning with 20 varsity sports; this involves program design, organization, implementation, and supervision of training sessions along with athlete testing data entry and maintenance of the facility are also part of this position. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree, Adult CPR certification, background in sport-specific resistance training and conditioning, knowledge of Olympic lifts, and working toward N.S.C.A. certification will be required of any applicant for consideration. Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint preferred. Compensation: Position includes tuition waiver and monthly stipend. Deadline: Applications must be received by April 16, 2010.
