Morgan State University: Accepting applications for summer 2010 Intern. Position will run from June 1, 2010 to August 1, 2010. Responsibilities will include 1)assist with development and implementation of sport specific strength & conditioning programs 2)office and organizational duties 3)maintenance of equipment and training facilities 4)other duties as assigned by strength & conditioning staff. Required qualifications: currently pursuing bachelors/masters in exercise science or a related field, certified in CPR/First Aid, strong desire to become a college strength & conditioning coach. Preferred qualifications: proficient in Microsoft word and excel, currently pursuing NSCA, USAW, or CSCCa certification(s) Compensation: This is a volunteer position. No stipend or housing is offered. Individual will gain experience in a division I college strength & conditioning setting as well as future recommendation. College credit will be given as approved by their institution.
