South Carolina State: Christine Waite, formerly of Action Zone and head strength coach at McMurry University (TX), has been named the new assistant director of strength and conditioning at South Carolina State University.

UNC Charlotte: Former Youngstown State University and Kennesaw State University - Director of Strength & Conditioning, John Patrick has accepted the position of Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for Football at UNC-Charlotte.

Emory University: Emory University (Atlanta, GA) is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant. Emory is an academically selective, research institution located in Atlanta, GA and sponsors an 18 sport, highly competitive NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletics program and is a member of the University Athletic Association. The GA position includes a per month stipend and will begin July 2016. Responsibilities: Assist the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach with the implementation of all facets of the strength and conditioning program: strength, speed, agility, flexibility, mobility, and nutritional programs. The hired candidate has an opportunity to be given their own teams and run their own programs. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: monitoring the Sports Performance facilities and aiding the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in various aspects of coaching, testing and evaluation of varsity student-athletes. Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, current nationally recognized certifications CSCCa, NSCA, USAW, CPR, First Aid, AED, and previous collegiate coaching experience.
