Pasco Sheriff's Office (FL): The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office (20 minutes north of Tampa, FL) is looking for 1-2 Volunteer Interns for their HUMAN PERFORMANCE PROGRAM for the 2021 Summer & Fall semesters. The internship will begin June 1 st , 2021. These internships are UNPAID positions, but the Human Performance Advisor will sign off for college credits and requirements. Prerequisites: The candidate must be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or related field and be CPR and First Aid certified. Candidates must be considering, pursuing or possess a certification through the CSCCa and/or NSCA. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting Human Performance Advisor in training tactical units throughout the Agency, mock interviews, presentations to the staff, weekly topics, and evaluations. Candidates must possess a strong work ethic, respectable character, 100% commitment to the program and a desire to pursue a career in the strength and conditioning field.
