Fresno State: Fresno State University is accepting applications for VOLUNTEER Intern Coaches to contribute to the strength and conditioning program for the 2019 spring semester. Qualified candidates will work directly with FOOTBALL, and will have the opportunity to assist in all aspects of training in compliance with NCAA rules. This is an UNPAID opportunity that provides experience assisting the Football Strength and Conditioning Staff with the implementation of individualized, comprehensive, sport-specific injury prevention, and performance enhancement programs. Potential candidates must possess an enthusiastic spirit, strong work ethic and character, desire to become a strength and conditioning professional, and demonstrate effective organization and communication skills. Required qualifications include current CPR/ AED certification, as well as achievement or current pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related course of study and SCCC or CSCS certification. This internship is expected to begin no later than Monday, January 14th 2019, and requires a 4-month time commitment with the potential to extend the internship through the summer training period pending positive evaluation. During the 4-month commitment, interns will receive experience working at the Division 1 level, have the potential to EARN recommendations for future career opportunities and receive college credit if applicable.
