Webber International: Webber International is seeking applicants for a Graduate Assistant position. This is a 12-month position that will run Feb 2019 – July 2020 (Summer classes included). The GA will be responsible for program design & implementation with their team(s) & other duties as assigned by the Head S&C Coach. In addition to team responsibilities, the GA will be immersed in a nationally recognized mentorship program and receive 2.0 CEUs (NSCA) upon completion of the position. The candidate will learn under a CSCCa Approved Mentor & will eligible to sit for SCCC exam (if applicable). Minimum Qualifications: GPA of 3.0+, CSCS / SCCC (or actively pursuing), & a strong desire to pursue a career in the strength & conditioning field. Benefits: FULL tuition coverage, $250/month stipend, on-campus housing, full meal plan (3 meals/day), FREE CEU’s (national conferences & local clinics), & WIU S&C gear. North Dakota: The University of North Dakota seeks highly motivated candidates for a PAID Strength and Conditioning coaching position. Anticipated start date is January of 2019 and will be open until filled. Duties: Assist Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in all aspects of the implementation of strength, speed, agility, and conditioning programs designed. Weight room maintenance, equipment maintenance and other duties assigned by the strength and conditioning staff. Qualifications: Candidates must be self motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to become a Strength and Conditioning Coach. Previous weight room experience via previous coaching experience and/or a background as a competitive athlete is preferred. In addition, candidates should be pursuing or just completed a Bachelor or Masters Degree in exercise science or a related field. SCCC or CSCS and CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required.
