Father Ryan High School (TN): Father Ryan High School in Nashville is seeking a Strength and Conditioning Coordinator beginning July 1, 2017. Father Ryan High School seeks to be a superior Catholic High School, providing excellence in religious and moral formation, academics, athletics, and the arts while remaining accessible to those seeking an education in the Catholic Tradition. The Strength and Conditioning Coordinator position at Father Ryan High School is a full-time (12 month) position with compensation commensurate with the experience of the candidate. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: assisting head varsity coaches in the design and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for all athletic programs, assisting with the strength and conditioning program implementation, provide instruction for safe and effective lifting techniques and equipment usage, supervise day-to-day activities in the weight room, conduct periodic performance and strength testing, and communicate regularly with head coaches, sports medicine personnel, and the Director of Athletics, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Requirements for this position are: Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree preferred) from an accredited college or university, strength and conditioning experience at the high school level, certification from the NSCA (or CSCS), and First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
