Southeastern University (FL): The Southeastern University Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking two (2) graduate assistant coaches for the upcoming academic year. This position has an anticipated start date of July 2021 and includes a tuition waiver, a meal plan, and a monthly stipend. The selected candidate will be responsible for: programming in and out of season training for assigned teams, managing nutrition education, and testing for assigned teams. The graduate assistant coach will communicate directly with sport coaches and have the opportunity to prescribe training modifications in conjunction with the Sports Medicine Department. The SEU Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking individuals who are highly motivated to learn, and have a strong work ethic. Southeastern University is a private Christian university located in central Florida. The mission of the SEU Athletic Department is to develop student- athletes holistically, physically, mentally, academically, and spiritually. As a department, we strive to foster character, servant leadership, and the development of life skills while providing a professional environment in athletics. SEU competes in 18 intercollegiate sports and is a member of the NAIA/Sun Conference. Football and Wrestling are members of the Mid South Conference. As a Christ-centered institution, the preferred candidate must display a Christian lifestyle and must be willing to incorporate his/her faith into the daily interaction with athletes, coaches, and colleagues. All applicants must be certified with CSCS or SCCC and have a valid CPR/AED certification. Consideration for a graduate assistant position is contingent upon acceptance into Southeastern University master’s program. The candidate will be required to maintain a 3.0 GPA or greater for the duration of the Graduate Assistantship.
